What is Chiropractic Care?
Chiropractic is a form of healthcare that focuses on locating and removing spine and nervous system interference. When the spine is out of proper alignment it causes a “traffic jam” of information going to the organs and muscles of the body. These traffic jams can cause imbalances in your body leading to lowered resistance to disease, illness, and pain. Chiropractic is unique in removing this interference through adjustments freeing the nervous system to work at 100% again.
Chiropractic care uses the body's own healing power and does not rely on pharmaceutical type treatments. Chiropractic doctors use their hands to make a personal connection with each patient that they treat, young and old. Dr. Amber Galipp specializes in gentle touch treatments for the whole family. She is certified in the Webster Technique through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) that provides expectant mothers a positive birth experience.
What are adjustments like? Dr. Galipp uses several different techniques in her practice. We use a technique called specific prone mixed with gentle diversified (manual) adjusting. Both of these techniques help us get great results. We are happy to tailor our adjustments to your needs and comfort level. The way we adjust a newborn is different from our college athletes. Each spine is unique and so should your treatment be.
